Celebrating Michael Nyman’s 75th birthday on March 23rd 2019, Supertrain is releasing the first widely available recording of Nyman’s masterpiece YAMAMOTO PERPETUO from 1993.  The piece is based on sketches of Scottish folk tunes Nyman had worked with when composing his famous score to THE PIANO.  Performed by Chase Spruill, Yamamoto Perpetuo is cast in twelve movements and last for over 40 minutes.
